Illinois BASSET Certification Online

Approved by the Illinois Liquor Commission

These courses are approved by the Illinois Liquor Commission, which oversees the Beverage Alcohol Sellers and Servers Education and Training (BASSET) program. Many Illinois counties and municipalities have local ordinances mandating BASSET training to sell or serve alcohol. Even if you do not need a BASSET card to meet the law, having one can reduce the insurance liability of the establishment you work at, and thus make you a more valuable employee or potential employee.

On-Premise BASSET Alcohol Certification

The on-premise course is for those who sell or serve alcohol where it's going to be consumed, such as bartenders, bar backs, servers, and managers of bars, restaurants, hotels, and the like.

Off-Premise BASSET Alcohol Certification

The off-premise course is for those who sell alcohol in sealed containers that won't be consumed at the place where it's sold, such as at liquor stores, grocery stores, and convenience stores, and the course is right for cashiers, managers, and business owners of such establishments.

On-Premise and Off-Premise BASSET Alcohol Certification

The combination course provides training for both courses at a discount. This option allows you to receive both the on-premise and off-premise BASSET card, so you can sell or serve alcohol at any establishment.

Our courses are 100% online and you can take them on any device that connects to the internet, like your computer, tablet, or mobile phone. Should you have any trouble, we offer customer support.
